Now, apart for a small venture down Byres Road at the start at the start of the night...and another small one at the end of the night, it was a great night out, great music, dancing and throwing pound coins at a bottle of whisky (introduced as "The Alex Salmond Whisky Challenge". But while I was Stripping the Willow, and Reeling the Virginia I danced with people I had never even met before, and will probably meet again, but there was no reservation. It is brilliant that at the end of a night, when everyone (particularly I) was sweating and roasting (although only a few in kilts (not me)) we all made a great big circle and sing the words of a 200-odd year old song. It has a weird resonance with people, but Auld Lang Syne works. It just does. Don't know why.

I also learned that I have still got a lot of student life to prepare for. Byres Road is weird on a Saturday night, especially for someone who doesn't drink...although I must say to Mario's take away, nice chips!

Here's where I'm coming from...

Hi everyone. Yeah. All 3 of you. I'm a teenager from Glasgow, Scotland, and the plan is to write about whatever comes to mind. I like The West Wing, bubble wrap and The Simpsons and hate Family Guy (sorry I just don't get it at all), modern art (again, don't get it), and owing people money..

I love my family and school. I do really enjoy it. I'm in 6th Year at secondary school, in the middle of sending out my UCAS application for law (and politics in some cases), which is not a fun experience. I actually only spend half my time in school studying subjects, all of which I really like, while the other half is spent running around doing things I rarely get credit or thanked for...but hey, that's life.

Oh, and one last thing, why start a blog on the 1st of December? I really don't know. Probably because I had the idea to get this thing going today...that's about it. So that's really about it.
